THOUSANDS of South Australians will attend dawn services across the state on ANZAC Day followed by a march through Adelaide’s CBD, where Hahndorf Town band will once again participate as it always has for many years.
Members of the band will also play at several of the more than 130 dawn services across the state, including at Hahndorf, Mylor, Echunga, Oakbank, Macclesfield, and several of band members’ local suburban services, honouring the 102,000 Australians who have lost their lives in war since 1901. Our ‘buglers’ will be much in demand.
The ANZAC march in Adelaide has been held continuously since the first Adelaide parade of remembrance in 1917.
