With the start of 2016 racing away, the Hahndorf Town Band will be taking part in the National Band Championships over the Easter Weekend – Friday (Test and Hymn), Saturday (Street Parade) and again on Sunday (Own Choice Major Works and Stage March)  We have been busy preparing for this weekend and look forward to presenting this music to the many people who will be coming along to this event to watch over 48 brass and concert bands as well as over 250 soloists or small groups finishing the weekend off by competing on Monday.[/vc_column_text]

Anzac Day 2016

We will be taking part with honour in the Adelaide Anzac Day March once again, with many of our members helping out at local and city Dawn Services as well prior to the march.

With 2 major events to prepare for –

Hahndorf Band Festival which will be held on Saturday 7th May in Hahndorf at the Pioneer Gardens

Annual Musikfest which will be held in the Hahndorf Institute on June 18th from 7.30pm. Tickets are available to pre order for this event, and if you would like to join us on this evening please call Debbie Jackson on 0410 881742 for further information.

Our band rehearses every Monday evening between 8pm to 10pm so if you wish to pop along a listen for awhile, or even join in please feel free. Our band room is located on Balhannah Road, Hahndorf, on the left hand side, just past St Michaels Primary School.
